That warning should only be showing up if you try to play the game on a regular gameboy. The game wasn't designed visually to run on it. Just about all the backgrounds would look terrible.
The Super Gameboy should work fine as far as I know, I unfortunately do not have one to test with.
My kids and I loved this demo, and we can't wait to play the full game! Cute sprites, lovely music, and fun gameplay! It's a family-friendly game that can still present a challenge, and has a lot of replay value to find hidden areas. Going to get a cart as soon as it comes out..
Lovely demo! Super cute graphics, fun gameplay and the music is so good! I played 2 levels and loved it, I downloaded the rom to try it on my Anbernic as well, can't wait to play the full game :)

Super Game Boy is not GB Color compatible, so it is really a regular GB with borders.
Excellent demo, the aesthetics of the game are beautiful, the music matches perfectly, I will be attentive to future updates and the full game!

I loved the demo, the art is beautiful, the music is charismatic. The level design is consistent, exploring its magic mechanics very well.
I got a great "Super Mario Land 2" vibe, and the details like petting the cat or sleeping in bed add a neat touch.
